St. Thomas Armenian Church

From South New Jersey: Take the NJ Tpke North (I-95) to Exit “Fort Lee – Palisades Pkwy North” just before the George Washington Bridge. DO NOT CROSS BRIDGE. At the first light, make a left onto Fletcher Ave., keep left, merge onto Lemoine ave., becomes Sylvan Ave./ Rt. 9W. make a left onto East Clinton Ave. Make first left onto Essex St. Make first left into church driveway.

From West New Jersey: Take I-80 East or Rt. 4 East to Exit “Fort Lee – Palisades Pkwy North.” follow directions as above.

From George Washington Bridge: Take Exit “Palisades Pkwy North.” Take Exit 1. Continue on off-ramp bearing right and make a right turn at the first traffic light onto Sylvan Ave./Rt. 9W. Follow directions as above.

From Upstate New York State: Take the NYS Thruway 87 South to Exit 13S Palisades Pkwy South. Take Exit 1. Continue on off ramp bearing right and make a right turn at the first traffic light onto Sylvan Ave./Rt. 9W. Follow directions above.

From New York City: Take the A train to 175th Street/George Washington Bridge Bus Station. At the bus station, purchase a Rockland Coaches ticket from the window (not purchasable via machine) for the 9A bus to Tenafly. The stop is E. Clinton Ave. and 9W. Be careful crossing! Holy Cross Armenian Church

From New York City: From Port Authority, there are many NJ Transit buses that will bring you within distance of Holy Cross. See the 162/163/164 bus times here.

From Northern New Jersey: Via the Garden State Pkwy take the exit for NJ-17 S/Hwy 17 S, I-80 E and I-95 S to 30th St in North Bergen. Take the exit toward Kennedy Boulevard from NJ-495 E. Continue on 30th St. Drive to New York Ave in Union City.

St. Leon's Armenian Church

From George Washington Bridge: Route 4 West (approx. 10 miles) Exit: North to Saddle River Road. Keep right onto Saddle River Road. Pass one light, the Church is on your right, approx. one mile from the exit.

From North New Jersey and New York Thruway: Garden State Parkway South Exit 163 onto Rout 17 South. Drive 1/4 mile to Route 4 West. Exit: North to Saddle River Road. Keep right onto Saddle River Road. Pass one light, the Church is on your right, approx. one mile from the exit.

From South New Jersey: Garden State Parkway North, Exit 160. Turn left. Pass two lights. At the overpass, make right turn and get on Route 4 West. Exit: North to Saddle River Road. Keep right onto Saddle River Road. Pass one light, the Church is on your right, approx. one mile from the exit.

From Route 17: At the intersection of Route 4 and route 17, take Route 4 West. Exit: North to Saddle River Road. Keep right onto Saddle River Road. Pass one light, the Church is on your right, approx. one mile from the exit.

From Route 20: Exit: Fair Lawn Avenue Bridge. Right unto bridge to Fair Lawn Avenue. Continue to Saddle River Road, approx. 21/2 miles. At the light turn right. Proceed approx. 1/4 miles. Church is on your left.

Holy Martyr's Armenian Church

From Manhattan and Queens: Take the F train to Jamaica – 179 St. Take the Q30 bus to Horace Harding Exp/Oceania St. Walk the remaining 3 minutes to the church. The Q30 bus schedule can be found here.

From Brooklyn: Take the L train to Atlantic Avenue. To get to the Far Rockaway 8870 bus stop (around the corner) take the Snediker Ave & New York Ave at SW corner exit. Head west on Atlantic Ave. Turn left then a sharp right and board the bus until the Jamaica stop. Then continue using the Q30 bus as listed above.
